This form embodies the Water Element, associated with the Kidneys and Bladder—the root of vitality, storage, and constitutional strength. The practice supports the low back, spine, hips, and knees while nourishing essence (Jing) and restoring balance between upper and lower body. Its movements emphasize sinking, coiling, and smooth wave-like flows that draw qi inward, release deep tension, and strengthen the body from the root. Energetically, the form cultivates steadiness and resilience, supporting zhi (willpower) and a sense of grounded calm.
